"But exhort one another daily, while it is called Today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin."
-Hebrews 3:13
MATTHEW 11:12
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.”
Jesus said these words to the crowds as He established himself as the Son of God. He knew then that there was a fierce opposition rising against ordinary people “accessing” the Kingdom of God, which Jesus would later reveal that it could only be done through Him (John 14:6). Jesus was not oblivious to this “Antichrist movement” at the time He walked the earth and He made it a point to equip His disciples with the tools they would need to spread the good news, which is the gospel of Christ’s atonement for sin through His death, resurrection, and ascension to the Father in order to prepare an eternal place for us.
Our ministry to men serves to focus on the discipleship of men. Very simply put, this process is finessed in the action of two things: “To know HIM and to make HIM known.” Through this process, our ministry will focus on developing and equipping disciples of Christ. We know Jesus Christ was the Son of God who came to this earth to be crucified as the atonement for our sins. But we are now sanctified and justified through Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 6:11) and able to live according to his will and purpose. Through mentorship we also seek to make Jesus known to others.
The world today shows evidence that it has turned its back on God and the root of this problem is a lack of GODLY men. This deep void and lacking comes from principalities of this world that seek to tear down God’s natural creation. More specifically, it seeks to destroy MAN, created according to the image of God (Genesis 1:26). Since the creation of man, we have been called to action (Genesis 2:15), effectively to be leaders: leading our wives, our children, our families, our homes, our towns, etc. (1 Timothy 3:5). This world seeks to destroy this effective leadership by removing the divine purpose instilled in men, which we were created for. This world seeks to remove fathers from homes, incarcerate men, and make it easy for men to get wrapped up into irresponsible ways of living that lead to depravity and sexual immorality. We know that this world will eventually pass away, but His truth will remain (Mark 13:31). We seek to take back that which was rightfully ordained in us when God created man and what is made available only through the blood of Jesus Christ.
We are The Remnant (Romans 11:5). We are the ones who seek to turn back to God. We are GODLY men through the modeling and teachings of Jesus Christ. We are equipped to be the men we were created to be. We are here to advance the kingdom of heaven here on earth.
